SFC Rawle L.A. Prince (RET)

Sergeant First Class Rawle L.A. Prince has been an Army Instructor at Hillside High School JROTC, Hillside, New Jersey for the past nine years. A native of Trinidad & Tobago, West Indies,  he entered the U.S. Army 18 November 1968 and has more than 22 years Non-commissioned service. He attended basic Combat Training at Fort Gordon, Georgia and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.

SFC Prince has served overseas in Vietnam, Okinawa, and Korea. His assignments include a tour as a Personnel Specialist at Fort Dix, New Jersey; Personnel Sergeant at Fort Myers, Virginia, in the Hoffman Building; and acting First Sergeant, United States Army Transition Point at Fort Jackson, South Carolina until his retirement 1 October 1990.

SFC Prince holds an Associates Degree and Bachelor's Degree in Management/Health Care from Park University in Parkville, Missouri, and in 2001 completed his Master's Degree in Education from Central Michigan University, McGuire AFB, New Jersey.

SFC Prince's military awards include the Army Commendation Medal (3 oak-leaf clusters), the Army Achievement Medal (4 oak-leaf clusters), the Good Conduct Medal (seven awards), and the National Defense Service Medal.

SFC Prince would like to welcome into his family another grandchild, Jaylen Robert Prince, born on 28 May 2003.
